And automatically compensates as engine load varies. No more cables, air cylinders or solenoids. No more constant monitoring! At any speed between 800 and 2100 rpm, there's a minimal speed droop of less than 10% between 'no load' and rated power.

 

Works with the flip of a switch

A simple toggle switch, mounted anywhere convenient – in the cab or at the back of the trailer, for instance – brings your engine up to the preset speed you've designated... and holds it there for as long as you want it.

 

Designed for easy retrofit

Installed in 3 hours or less by a qualified mechanic onto any Cummins engine with a PT fuel system. There's no need to remove the fuel pump, and no recalibration is required. And TELEFLEX units come complete with all the components needed for proper installation.

 

 

 

Model TR-1001

For trucks with Power Takeoff Drives

Controls revs throughout the full RPM range while your truck engine drives accessories like hydraulic pumps, liquid pumps, blower, compressors or mechanical drives. Suitable for use in: cement trucks, tankers, garbage compactors, bulk carriers, dump trucks.

Model TR-1001 also offers a special interlock feature to lock out your truck's throttle and leave your High-Idle Governor in control. This simple wiring change prevents throttle override, protects against accidental over-revving which can damage major equipment.

Model TR-2001

Preset for High-Idle with Light Loads

A low cost governor that automatically maintains high idle speed, without the constant adjustment required by throttle cables. Provides proper lubrication and combustion temperatures in hot or cold weather, prevents engine damage. Specifically designed for truck engines that run at idle: during extended warm-ups, overnight in cold climates, to operate air conditioning in hot climates.
